Come to the Table is a community ministry that provides a free hot meal each week to anyone in the community. Food is prepared by volunteers from different community organizations with St. John’s Lutheran and Grace Episcopal Church providing the core of the schedule. Interested groups can sign up using the link below, but please also contact St. John’s church office for some specific instructions if this is your first time.
Delbert has helped with meal distribution since 2022. Every Tuesday he is available to assist people who are hungry.
To go meal distribution moved inside in the fall of 2020. Meals were distributed just inside the doors of St. John’s Lutheran Church
Come to the Table Started in the Spring of 2020 during the first weeks of the pandemic. Drive through pick up was used for the first summer.
In May 2024, Distribution for Come to the Table is moving to First United Methodist Church in Jamestown. St. John’s is beginning a kitchen remodel project that is displacing the program for a few months.
